વર્લ્ડ ફર્સ્ટ એડ દિવસ ,નિમિત્તે જામનગરમાં CPR અને First Aid Training Seminar નું આયોજન
રોટરી ક્લબ ઇમેજિકા જામનગર અને બરોડા હાર્ટ એન્ડ શારદા સુપર સ્પેશિયાલિટી હોસ્પિટલ દ્વારા રોટેરીયન સભ્યો અને તેમના પરિવારજનો માટે વિશેષ તાલીમ કાર્યક્રમ
જામનગર, ( ભરત ભોગાયતા. ). જામનગરના અગ્રણી મીડિયા પર્સનની ઉપસ્થિતિમાં 12 સપ્ટેમ્બર એટલે World First Aid Day. અકસ્માત કે કોઈપણ પ્રકારની મેડિકલ ઇમરજન્સી દરમિયાન ડૉક્ટર અથવા હોસ્પિટલ સુધી દર્દી પહોંચે તે પહેલાં જીવન બચાવવાના પ્રથમ અને મહત્વપૂર્ણ પગલાં શું હોઈ શકે તે અંગે જનજાગૃતિ લાવવાના હેતુથી રોટરી ક્લબ ઇમેજિકા જામનગર અને બરોડા હાર્ટ એન્ડ શારદા સુપર સ્પેશિયાલિટી હોસ્પિટલ, જામનગર દ્વારા સંયુક્તપણે એક વિશેષ First Aid Awareness Seminar અને CPR ટ્રેનિંગનું આયોજન કરવામાં આવ્યું હતું.
લોર્ડ્સ સ્ટુડિયો ઈન હોટેલ, જામનગર ખાતે સાંજે 4 વાગ્યાથી યોજાયેલા આ કાર્યક્રમમાં રોટરી ક્લબ ઇમેજિકા જામનગરના આશરે 40થી 50 સભ્યો તથા તેમના પરિવારજનોએ ભાગ લીધો હતો.
આ પ્રસંગે જાણીતા તબીબો ડૉ. મિલન રાબડીયા (Emergency Medicine) અને ડૉ. મોહિત પાબારી (Orthopaedic Surgeon) દ્વારા અકસ્માત તથા વિવિધ મેડિકલ ઇમરજન્સીની પરિસ્થિતિમાં શું કરવું અને શું ન કરવું, First Aidનું મહત્વ, CPR કેવી રીતે અને ક્યારે આપવું તથા દર્દીને હોસ્પિટલ સુધી પહોંચાડવામાં આવે તે પહેલાંની નિર્ણાયક ક્ષણોમાં યોગ્ય રીતે પ્રતિસાદ કેવી રીતે આપવો તે અંગે મહત્વપૂર્ણ માર્ગદર્શન આપવામાં આવ્યું હતું.
*દરેક વ્યક્તિ બની શકે છે ‘First Responder’*
હાર્ટ એટેક, અચાનક બેભાન થવું, રોડ અકસ્માત કે અન્ય દુર્ઘટના, દાઝી જવાની ઘટના, ડિહાઇડ્રેશન અથવા અન્ય કોઈપણ ઇમરજન્સી પરિસ્થિતિમાં દર્દીની પાસે સૌપ્રથમ પહોંચનાર વ્યક્તિ ઘણી વખત પરિવારનો સભ્ય, પાડોશી, રાહદારી અથવા ઓફિસનો સહકર્મચારી હોય છે. આવી વ્યક્તિ જ દર્દી માટે ‘First Responder’ બની શકે છે.
આવી પરિસ્થિતિમાં ગભરાઈ જવાને બદલે યોગ્ય First Aid અને CPR અંગેની જાણકારી હોવી અત્યંત જરૂરી છે. ખોટી સારવાર કરવાને બદલે તબીબી માર્ગદર્શન મુજબ યોગ્ય પ્રથમ પગલું લેવામાં આવે તો હોસ્પિટલ પહોંચે ત્યાં સુધી દર્દીના જીવન માટે તે ખૂબ જ નિર્ણાયક સાબિત થઈ શકે છે.
કાર્યક્રમમાં ‘Golden Hour’નું મહત્વ પણ સમજાવવામાં આવ્યું હતું. ઈમરજન્સીના પરિસ્થિતિમાં સમયસર મળેલી મદદ અને એક યોગ્ય First Responder દર્દીના જીવન બચાવવામાં અત્યંત મહત્વપૂર્ણ બની શકે છે.
ડૉક્ટર સુધી પહોંચે તે પહેલાં શું કરવું તેની જાણકારી દરેક નાગરિકને હોવી જરૂરી
કાર્યક્રમ દરમિયાન એ બાબત પર ભાર મૂકવામાં આવ્યો કે ઈમરજન્સીમાં એમ્બ્યુલન્સ અથવા હોસ્પિટલ સુધી પહોંચવામાં થોડો સમય લાગી શકે છે, પરંતુ મદદ કરવાની શરૂઆત ઘટના સ્થળેથી જ થઈ શકે છે. તેથી ડૉક્ટર કે સુપર સ્પેશિયાલિટી હોસ્પિટલ સુધી દર્દી પહોંચે તે પહેલાં શું કરવું, શું ન કરવું અને કઈ સ્થિતિમાં CPR અથવા First Aid જરૂરી છે તેની મૂળભૂત જાણકારી દરેક નાગરિકને હોવી જોઈએ.
આ કાર્યક્રમ માત્ર એક CPR Training Programme ન રહેતા દરેક પરિવાર, ઓફિસ, સંસ્થા અને સમાજ સુધી First Aid અને Emergency Response અંગેની જાગૃતિ પહોંચાડવાનો પ્રયાસ બન્યો.
જામનગરમાં First Aid અને CPR અંગે જનજાગૃતિનો સંકલ્પ
World First Aid Day નિમિત્તે બરોડા હાર્ટ એન્ડ શારદા સુપર સ્પેશિયાલિટી હોસ્પિટલ, જામનગર દ્વારા એવો સંકલ્પ વ્યક્ત કરવામાં આવ્યો કે વધુમાં વધુ લોકો સુધી CPR, First Aid અને Emergency Response અંગેની મહત્વપૂર્ણ માહિતી પહોંચે. સમયસર First Response અને ત્યારબાદ યોગ્ય Critical Care મળે તો અનેક કિસ્સાઓમાં જીવન બચાવી શકાય છે.
મેડિકલ સાયન્સની દૃષ્ટિએ પણ દર્દી તથા તેની આસપાસના પરિવારજનો અને સંભાળ લેનાર લોકોને જરૂરી માહિતી અને માર્ગદર્શન આપવું એ મહત્વપૂર્ણ સામાજિક જવાબદારી છે. આ પ્રકારના જાગૃતિ કાર્યક્રમો દ્વારા સામાન્ય નાગરિકોને ઇમરજન્સીની સ્થિતિમાં વધુ આત્મવિશ્વાસપૂર્વક અને યોગ્ય રીતે પ્રતિસાદ આપવા સક્ષમ બનાવી શકાય છે.
આ સમગ્ર કાર્યક્રમના આયોજનમાં સહયોગ બદલ બરોડા હાર્ટ એન્ડ શારદા સુપર સ્પેશિયાલિટી હોસ્પિટલના યુનિટ હેડ ડૉ. સંજય પન્ના, રોટરી ક્લબ ઇમેજિકા જામનગરના પ્રેસિડેન્ટ રોટેરીયન હરદીપસિંહ જાડેજા તથા પ્રોજેક્ટ ચેર રોટેરીયન હર્ષ પરમારનો વિશેષ આભાર વ્યક્ત કરવામાં આવ્યો હતો.
. રોટરી ક્લબ ઇમેજિકા જામનગરના સભ્યો, હોસ્પિટલની ટીમ અને મીડિયા ક્ષેત્રના મિત્રો સાથે મળીને યોજાયેલું આ આયોજન જામનગરમાં First Aid અને CPR અંગે જનજાગૃતિ ફેલાવવાની દિશામાં એક મહત્વપૂર્ણ પહેલ સાબિત થયું.કેવીDઈનબરોડા હાર્ટ હોસ્પિટલ સાથે. અસરકારક PR વર્કથી જોડાયેલા SMS (STRETEGIK MEDIA SERVICE A”BAD) ના સુબોજિત સેન અને અપૂર્વા સેનાએ સમગ્ર પણે રૂપરેખાઓ ઘડી હતી તેમજ 22 ઓગસ્ટના જામનગર ના અગ્રણી પત્રકારો સાથે આ હોસ્પિટલની. ઇન્ટ્રોડક્ટ્રી ટોકનું આયોજન પણ SMS એ કર્યું હતું અને લોકઉપયોગી બાબતો અને જાગૃતિ માટે નિસ્વાર્થ ભાવથી કાર્યરત રહેતા જામનગરના અગ્રણી પત્રકારોએ તે કવરેજ પ્રિન્ટ અને ડિજિટલ માધ્યમથી પ્રકાશિત કર્યા હતા , લોકોની જાણકારી માટે જામનગરના અગ્રણી મીડિયાનું આ યોગદાન હતું.
હવે બીજી. એક બાબત અંગે પ્રકાશ પાડીએ તો, અન્ય વ્યસ્તતાને કારણે. બરોડા હાર્ટ અને શારદા સુપરસ્પેશ્યાલિટી ના 22 ઓગસ્ટ અને 12 sept ના કાર્યક્રમો આયોજનો માં નહી પહોંચી શકનારા પત્રકાર મિત્રો એ બાદમાં પણ આ હોસ્પિટલના સંપર્ક કરી અખબારી યાદી સહિતની વિગત મેળવી હતી તેમજ 22 સપ્ટેમ્બર ના દર્દી – ઇજાગ્રસ્ત કે અન્ય મેડિકલ ઈમરજન્સી અંગે પણ મીડિયા એ ખૂબ જાગૃતતા દાખવી તેમજ જુદા જુદા ગ્રુપ વાઇઝ કોઈ પત્રકાર પહોંચી ન શક્યા હોય તેમના માટે પણ થોડો સમય કાઢી ને આવેલા અમુક અગ્રણી પત્રકાર બીજા મીડિયા મિત્રો સાથે શેર કરવાનું માહિતી વગેરે ફટાફટ મેળવી લઈને તે. તુર્ત જ ગ્રુપના અંગત મિત્રોને તે બધું જ બંને વખતે પહોંચાડ્યું. હતું કેમકે મેડિકલ ઈમરજન્સીમાં જામનગર શહેર અને હાલારના લોકો માટે ઉપયોગી માહિતી રસપ્રદ રીતે પહોંચાડવાની. તે કટિબદ્ધતા સાથે લોકઉપયોગી વિગત પ્રસિધ્ધ કરવાની તાલાવેલી એ જ આ સમગ્ર આયોજન ને સફળ બનાવ્યાની ચર્ચાઓ હતી અનેઆ જવાબદારી સરકારના સમાનતાના ઉદ્દેશ્યને સાકાર કરે છે

બીજી એક વાત કરીએ તો કુતરુ રોટલાનું એક બટકું લેવા હમેશા દોડે છે અને તે બટકું લઈને પોતાની બખોલમાં. ફટાફટ આવે અને ત્યાં પાત્રતાને કોરાણે મૂકી બીજા કૂતરા કે કુતરી ગલૂડિયાં સાથે એ રોટલાનું બટકું જે ફટાફટ રીતે કુતરુ હાંફતો હાંફતી જઈ લાવ્યું હોય તે ભાગે પડતું વેચે છે કોઈ લાયકાતની જરૂર ન રહે કેમકે ભૂખ અને ભીખ મહત્વની છે શ્વાન એટલે કે કૂતરા નાગુણ ના કારણે ગુરુ દત્તાત્રેય ભગવાને કૂતરાને ગુરુ બનાવ્યો હતો
CPR and First Aid Training Seminar Organised in Jamnagar on the Occasion of World First Aid Day
Rotary Club Imagica Jamnagar and Baroda Heart & Sharda Superspeciality Hospital organise a special training programme for Rotarians and their families

September 12 is observed as World First Aid Day, highlighting the importance of immediate assistance during accidents and medical emergencies. With the objective of creating awareness about the crucial life-saving steps that can be taken before a patient reaches a doctor or hospital, Rotary Club Imagica Jamnagar and Baroda Heart & Sharda Superspeciality Hospital, Jamnagar jointly organised a special First Aid Awareness Seminar and CPR Training Programme.
The programme was organised at Lords Studio Inn Hotel, Jamnagar, from 4:00 pm onwards, and was attended by approximately 40 to 50 members of Rotary Club Imagica Jamnagar along with their family members.
On the occasion, renowned doctors Dr. Milan Rabadiya (Emergency Medicine) and Dr. Mohit Pabari (Orthopaedic Surgeon) provided valuable guidance on what to do and what not to do during accidents and various medical emergencies. They explained the importance of First Aid, when and how CPR should be administered, and how an individual can respond appropriately during the critical period before a patient reaches the hospital.
Every Individual Can Become a ‘First Responder’
In situations such as a heart attack, sudden loss of consciousness, road accident or other mishap, burns, dehydration or any other medical emergency, the person who reaches the patient first is often a family member, neighbour, passer-by or colleague. Such an individual can become the patient’s ‘First Responder’.
In such situations, it is extremely important to remain calm and have basic knowledge of First Aid and CPR. Rather than attempting incorrect treatment, taking the right first step in accordance with medical guidance can prove extremely crucial in protecting a patient’s life until professional medical assistance is available.
The importance of the ‘Golden Hour’ was also explained during the programme. Timely assistance and an appropriately trained First Responder can play a vital role in saving a patient’s life during an emergency.
Knowledge of What to Do Before Reaching a Doctor is Essential for Every Citizen
During the programme, emphasis was placed on the fact that an ambulance or hospital may take some time to reach the scene or for the patient to be transported. However, the process of helping the patient can begin immediately at the site of the emergency.
Therefore, every citizen should have basic knowledge about what to do, what not to do, and when CPR or First Aid may be required before a patient reaches a doctor or a superspeciality hospital.
The programme was not merely a CPR training session, but an effort to take awareness about First Aid and Emergency Response to every family, workplace, institution and community.
A Commitment to Creating Greater Awareness About First Aid and CPR in Jamnagar
On the occasion of World First Aid Day, Baroda Heart & Sharda Superspeciality Hospital, Jamnagar, expressed its commitment to taking vital information about CPR, First Aid and Emergency Response to as many people as possible.
With timely first response followed by appropriate Critical Care, lives can be saved in many emergency situations.
From the perspective of modern medical science, providing patients, their family members and caregivers with the necessary information and guidance is also an important social responsibility. Such awareness programmes can empower ordinary citizens to respond more confidently and appropriately during medical emergencies.
