ભરૂચ જિલ્લાના ઝઘડીયા તાલુકાના રાજપારડી મુકામે રોડ નિર્માણની કામગીરીમાં એક નવી પહેલ કરવામાં આવી છે. અહીં ગ્રીન ટેકનોલોજીનો ઉપયોગ કરીને રોડને વધુ ટકાઉ બનાવવાનો પ્રયાસ હાથ ધરાયો છે.રાજપારડી પાસે અંદાજે 5.275 કિલોમીટરના વિસ્તારમાં ડામર રોડ બનાવવાની કામગીરી ચાલી રહી છે. આ પ્રોજેક્ટમાં ટેન્ડરની વિગતો મુજબ આધુનિક પદ્ધતિઓ અપનાવવામાં આવી છે.કામગીરીના સૌ પ્રથમ SS-1 થી પ્રાઈમ કોટ કરવામાં આવ્યો છે.ત્યારબાદ તેના પર સફેદ રંગનું ખાસ જીઓ ટેક્સટાઈલ (Geo-Textile) મટીરીયલ પાથરવામાં આવ્યું છે આ જીઓ ટેક્સટાઈલ મટીરીયલ એક સેપરેશન લેયર તરીકે કામ કરે છે, જે ડામરના પડને મજબૂતી આપે છે અને તેને સરકી જતો અટકાવે છે.ત્યારબાદ ટેક કોટ અને 60 mm નું DBM (Dense Bituminous Macadam) સ્તર લગાડવામાં આવશે.અંતિમ તબક્કે તેના પર 40 mm નું BC(Bituminous Concrete) સ્તર પાથરવામાં આવશે,
શું આ રોડ ભારે વાહનો સામે ટકી શકશે?
રાજપારડી રોડ પર ભારે વાહનોની સતત અવરજવર રહેતી હોય છે. ચોમાસામાં વરસાદને કારણે રોડનો બેઝ વારંવાર ખરાબ થઈ જતો હતો. પરંતુ, આ ગ્રીન ટેકનોલોજી અને જીઓ ટેક્સટાઈલ મટીરીયલના ઉપયોગથી રોડને વધારાની મજબૂતી મળશે. નિષ્ણાતોના મતે, આ ટેકનોલોજીથી રોડની આવરદા વધશે અને તે ભારે વાહનોના ભારને સહેલાઈથી ઝીલી શકશે ગ્રીન ટેકનોલોજીના આ પ્રયોગથી આવનારા સમયમાં રસ્તાઓની ગુણવત્તામાં નોંધપાત્ર સુધારો જોવા મળે તેવી આશા છે, શું આ રસ્તો ભારે વાહનો સામે ટકશે ખરો?
