નયારા એનર્જી દ્વારા યાત્રાધામ દ્વારકાના છ પ્રતિષ્ઠિત સ્થળોએ સ્વચ્છતા પહેલનો પ્રારંભદેશની જાણીતી સંસ્થાઓને સાથે લઇ દર્શનાર્થી-પર્યટકો માટે સ્વચ્છ વાતાવરણ નિર્મિત કરવાનો સંકલ્પ
સ્થાનિક તેમજ રાજ્યકક્ષાના સરકારી તંત્રોને કચરા વ્યવસ્થાપન અંગે જરૂરી સહયોગ આપવા આયોજન
જામનગર, તા. 28 જુલાઈ 2026: આંતરરાષ્ટ્રીય કક્ષાની એકીકૃત ડાઉનસ્ટ્રીમ એનર્જી અને પેટ્રોકેમિકલ્સ કંપની નયારા એનર્જીએ ભારત સરકારની સ્વચ્છ પ્રતિષ્ઠિત સ્થળો (સ્વચ્છ આઇકોનિક પ્લેસીસ) પહેલને પ્રોત્સાહિત કરવાના ભાગરૂપે યાત્રાધામ દ્વારકાના છ પ્રતિષ્ઠિત સ્થળોએ સ્વચ્છતા પહેલનો પ્રારંભ કર્યો છે.
આ પહેલનો ઉદ્દેશ કચરા વ્યવસ્થાપન પ્રણાલીઓને મજબૂત બનાવવાનો, સ્વચ્છતામાં સુધારો લાવવાનો અને મુલાકાતીઓ માટે વધુ સ્વચ્છ તથા ટકાઉ વાતાવરણનું નિર્માણ કરવાનો છે. જે અંગે દ્વારકામાં એક વર્કશોપનું આયોજન કરાયું હતું. જેમાં પહેલ સાથે જોડાનારી સરકારી કચેરીના અધિકારીઓ તેમજ નયારા એનેર્જી દ્વારા નક્કી કરાયેલી દેશની જાણીતી સંસ્થાઓના અધિકારીઓ જોડાયા હતા.
આ પહેલ હેઠળ દ્વારકાના છ મહત્વપૂર્ણ વારસાગત અને યાત્રાધામ સ્થળો ખાતે ઘન કચરા વ્યવસ્થાપન તથા પ્રવાહી કચરા વ્યવસ્થાપન અને સ્વચ્છતા સંબંધિત કાર્યો હાથ ધરવામાં આવશે. આ છ સ્થળોમાં શ્રી દ્વારકાધીશ મંદિર પરિસર, શ્રી રુક્મિણી મંદિર પરિસર, શ્રી નાગેશ્વર મંદિર પરિસર, શ્રી ભડકેશ્વર મંદિર પરિસર, શિવરાજપુર બીચ પ્રવેશ વિસ્તાર અને શ્રી બેટ દ્વારકા મંદિર પરિસરનો સમાવેશ થાય છે.
સ્વચ્છ આઇકોનિક પ્લેસીસ (એસઆઈપી)એ “સ્વચ્છ ભારત મિશન ગ્રામીણ” હેઠળ કેન્દ્ર સરકારની એક પહેલ છે જેનો હેતુ સમગ્ર ભારતમાં 100 ઐતિહાસિક, આધ્યાત્મિક અને સાંસ્કૃતિક જગ્યાઓને વિશ્વ કક્ષાના “સ્વચ્છ પ્રવાસન સ્થળો”માં પરિવર્તિત કરવાનો છે. મલ્ટિ-સ્ટેકહોલ્ડર પ્રોજેક્ટનો ઉદ્દેશ્ય આ સ્થળો પર અને તેની આસપાસ સ્વચ્છતા અને સ્વચ્છતાના ધોરણોને સુધારીને સ્થાનિક અને વિદેશી મુલાકાતીઓના અનુભવને વધારવાનો છે.
વર્કશોપમાં દેશની જાણીતી સંસ્થાઓ ઇન્ડિયા સેનિટેશન કોએલિશન, સીડીડી ઇન્ડિયા અને સહજ ઝીરો વેસ્ટ મેનેજમેન્ટ પ્રાઇવેટ લિમિટેડના ઉચ્ચ અધિકારીગણ તેમજ સબ-ડિવિઝનલ મેજિસ્ટ્રેટ શ્રી હિમાંશુ ચૌહાણ, મામલતદાર શ્રી એ.ડી. ભેડા, દ્વારકા નગરપાલિકા મુખ્ય અધિકારી શ્રી અશ્વિન ગઢવી તેમજ અલગ અલગ સરકારી વિભાગના અધિકારીઓ, વેપારી સંગઠનના આગેવાનો જોડાયા હતા.

Nayara Energy launches cleanliness initiative at six iconic places of Dwarka pilgrimage site
Resolved to create a clean environment for visitors and tourists by bringing together renowned institutions of the country
Planned to provide necessary support to local and state level government agencies on integrated waste management
Jamnagar, Date. 28 July 2026: Nayara Energy, an international integrated downstream energy and petrochemicals company, has launched a cleanliness initiative at six iconic places of Dwarka pilgrimage site as part of promoting the Clean Iconic Places initiative of the Government of India.
The aim of this initiative is to strengthen waste management systems, improve cleanliness and create a cleaner and more sustainable environment for visitors. A workshop was organized in Dwarka regarding this. It was attended by officials from government offices associated with the initiative as well as officials from renowned institutions of the country as determined by Nayara Energy.
Under this initiative, solid waste management, liquid waste management and sanitation related works will be undertaken at six important heritage and pilgrimage sites in Dwarka. These six sites include Shri Dwarkadhish Temple Complex, Shri Rukmini Temple Complex, Shri Nageshwar Temple Complex, Shri Bhadkeshwar Temple Complex, Shivrajpur Beach Entry Area and Shri Bet Dwarka Temple Complex.
The Swachh Iconic Places (SIP) is a central government initiative under the Swachh Bharat Mission Grameen aimed at transforming 100 heritage, spiritual, and cultural landmarks across India into world-class “Swachh Tourist Destinations”. The multi-stakeholder project aims at enhancing the experience of domestic and foreign visitors by improving the sanitation and cleanliness standards at and around the sites.
The workshop was attended by senior officials of renowned organisations like India Sanitation Coalition, CDD India and Sahaj Zero Waste Management Private Limited, Sub-Divisional Magistrate Shri Himanshu Chauhan, Mamlatdar Shri A.D. Bheda, Dwarka Municipal Corporation Chief Officer Shri Ashwin Gadhvi, officials from different government departments and leaders of trade associations.
